Tryon is less than a day's drive for seasonal visitors from the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida.  It's location on the south slope of the Blue Ridge Thermal Belt brings a peculiar atmospheric condition that tempers both winter and summer and makes autumn and spring very long.  This moderate climate results in year 'round operation of Inns with tables famous for good food and accommodations that invite you during every season.

Tryon is a mid-point on a line of travel from the Great Lakes states to Florida.  Within a few hours drive are the rugged peaks of the Great Smokies or the coastal beaches. We hope to see you soon, for a meal, an overnight stay or even longer!

From Charlotte: 90 minutes West, Follow Rt 74 to Exit 161

From Asheville: 45 minutes southeast on I-26

From Spartanburg: 35 minutes northwest on I-26

Follow I-26 to Tryon and take Exit # 67
Take N.C. 108 west toward Tryon and go 2 ½ miles
Cross over the Pacolet River Bridge
Turn right on Howard Gap Road
The Inn is 1½ miles on the right.
