We wish to introduce you to the Stone Hedge Inn.

We, Tom and Shaula Dinsmore, are the proprietors of a unique country inn located in Tryon, North Carolina.  Over the past eleven years our inn and restaurant have had the pleasure of hosting numerous weddings and receptions as well as many other events.  We have learned by way of our guests’ gratitude that we have a very special place for such events and we wish to convey to you our desire and ability to host weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners.

The Stone Hedge Inn is a mountain-country estate.  Constructed of stacked fieldstone in the 1930s, it is situated on twenty-six acres of rolling meadows surrounded by woodlands with mountain views.  We wish to attract couples looking for a non traditional site for their wedding and reception, as well as those who wish to follow their traditional ceremony with a reception in an atmosphere of casual elegance.  As for rehearsal dinners, we offer a perfect environment for families and friends of the bride and groom to become acquainted.  There are a myriad of possibilities for those who are planning their own wedding ceremony.  One may desire an elegant sunset ceremony on the stone terrace, another an informal gathering on the shaded picnic patio under an old Pecan tree.  If your emphasis is on a particular theme, you may add to the decoration of our grounds and dining room in almost any fashion to suite your dream event.

In addition to providing a very special setting for your wedding or reception we give you a wonderful array of options for the dining segment of the event.  Tom will prepare everything, from a lavish buffet of hors d’oeuvres and “finger foods,” to a seated dinner with courses from soup to nuts.  Buffet costs begin at $20.00 per person.  Dinners can be as casual or as elegant as you wish.  Choose from our standard menu or from our list of special entrées.  Incorporate an appetizer or any number of hors d’oeuvres into your menu.  Entrées range from $ 16.00 to $40.00.  A brunch or a luncheon is also an option for those who wish to hold their special event in the early part of the day.  We will be happy to have you visit our inn and consider the possibilities for your reception, rehearsal dinner and especially the wedding itself!
